Machine profile templates in LightBurn
Create a LightBurn template file for each machine in your shop, pre-configured with your speed/power settings for each material. Import your Pathhaus font files into these templates, assign them to the correct layers, and save. For each new job, open the appropriate template, swap in the customer's text via copy/paste, and run. This reduces job setup to under 2 minutes for most standard text jobs.
Batch export via Pathhaus API
Enterprise customers can use the Pathhaus REST API to generate machine-ready files programmatically. If you have a customer portal that accepts text input, the API can automatically generate optimized SVG/DXF files on demand — no manual Pathhaus Studio sessions. The /api/v1/export endpoint accepts font, text, size, and optimization parameters and returns a binary file in under 200ms.
Quality control checkpoints
For production work, add two checkpoints: (1) run all new fonts through the Pathhaus Node Counter before adding them to your approved library — verify node counts are within your machine's acceptable range; (2) do a physical test engrave of every new font at each standard size on scrap material before running customer jobs. Document the optimal settings and save them in your LightBurn template. This front-loads quality work and eliminates production mistakes.
